We accepted your quote not because it was the lowest but for other reasons: 1) Ben arrived promptly, just a day or so after my initial phone call, to assess our large bedroom wing and to measure up for a quote. His professionally prepared, detailed quote came by email next day, with our floor plan and his signature scanned in. Not only that but Aaron himself returned the floor plan to our door. We adopted Ben’s recommendation not to use a ceiling pump, which an engineer had warned us against, as they are likely to break down. Ben’s was the only quote which suggested a sloping drainage channel cut into our laundry wall. He seemed to have considered all possibilities carefully and was not casual as two other firms were when they “quoted” on the spot. 2) Installation arrangements were prompt, thorough and well organised. Clearly Ben’s carefully drawn sketch helped the contractors prepare and showed them exactly how to proceed. They arrived on time and were pleasant and efficient, (so much so that I made them blueberry muffins for their morning tea). They completed the installation within the estimated time and came with all the gear they needed. The installation is neat and tidy. The plasterer, Simon, arrived as arranged and made his three visits within four days. We were impressed with his work and his immaculate finish. Thank you for the speedy and fuss-free installation. I was glad of the instruction sheet you enclosed and mailed with our invoice – it’s helpful to have a quick-reference. Not all users are good at reading whole handbooks and some of us cannot absorb verbal instructions readily." ...................................
